Reading Is Self Defense: Part 2

In our ongoing study of the importance of reading, we will discuss two very important benefits:

  1. Stress reduction: according to a university of Sussex study, reading just six minutes a day will help reduce stress by up to 66%
  2. Boost your problem-solving skills: reading has been proven to improve analytical thinking, so maybe you can finally solve The mystery of the Rubiks cube LOL

I’ve probably said it 100 times, but I’ll say it again. There is so much more to self-defense then punching, kicking, or grappling. I sincerely hope the students at Karate World of Surfside Beach will embrace the concept of reading as a technique for defending (and improving) oneself!
