Sun Fun Classic: Saturday, September 20th. Karate World of Surfside Beach will be hosting our annual karate tournament. Competition will be held at the Sea Mist Resort and Convention Center on 12th Avenue South and Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach. There will be a Shriners Parade that morning so we are advising competitors to take 17 Business and then turn onto 12th Avenue South, as Ocean Boulevard might be congested due to the parade. The Sun Fun Classic is equivalent to a dance schools recital or football teams Homecoming, so all students are encouraged to attend!

Please wear your Karate World t-shirts. Parking will be available on a first come, first serve basis at my home (112 7th Avenue South). I can fit approximately 6 vehicles in my yard. There is also sometimes free parking by the baseball field at 7th South & Dogwood and along one side of 7th. Otherwise, you may have to use the pay-to-park spaces along Ocean Blvd. Carpooling is definitely recommended. Hope to see you all there!
