Student of the Month: Hailey Emmons

Closings: There are NO CLOSINGS! We will have class on October 12th even though there is no school.

Sun Fun Classic Tournament: Saturday, October 10th. This event is kind of like our annual “recital”. All students are asked to compete; there will be appropriate divisions for everyone, regardless of age or experience level! It will be held at the Sea Mist Convention Center at 1200 South Ocean Blvd in Myrtle Beach. All participants will receive a 3 ft. trophy as well as earning ribbons for 1st – 4th place. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled group time in full uniform. Phase 1 begins at 9:30am, Phase 2 begins at 10:30am, Phase 3 begins at 12pm and Phase 4 begins at 1pm.

Buddy Week: October 12th–16th

Monthly Special: All uniforms 15% off.

Competition Team Meeting & Practice: Saturday, October 17th from 10am–11am. Parents are asked to attend a short 20 minute meeting to discuss the plan for 2016.

Halloween Party: Saturday, October 24th from 6:30pm–9:30pm. Costume Contest, Glow Sword Seminar, Games, Food & Prizes! Price is $40 (includes the price of glow saber, retail price $30)

Stripe Night: Wednesday, October 28th & Thursday, October 29th

October is National Anti-Bullying Month: This month in class we will be giving extra attention in class to the subject of Bullying by having discussions and learning verbal and physical anti-bullying techniques.

Halloween Passes: We will be giving each student several Halloween passes to give to Trick-or-Treaters. Put your name on back and get an $89 Gift Certificate if a new student brings it in and signs up!

November Seminar: NDL Hall of Fame member, Master Terry Gore will put on a “Fancy Kicks” seminar, Saturday, November 21st. Cost is $25 or $20 for Competition Team Members

Message of the Month: How can I help those less fortunate?

Project: Please donate gently used coats / hoodies as well as new coats, shoes, toothbrushes, toothpaste, body soap, etc. All donations will go to underprivileged children at our local elementary schools.
